What to do with the children when the weather is awful, or you cant get out and about?
Im currently nursing a torn Achilles, so the reality of half term inside is making me anxious!
I'm not going to lie, sometimes the thought of getting out the craft box fills me with absolute horror.
The glue.
The glitter.
THE MESS.
It cant always be avoided though, and I'd rather my two sat and got creative than sat in front of the TV all day (don't get me wrong, they watch plenty of it)
EMBRACE THE MESS
(and make them tidy it up!)
When the box does finally emerge, do you just let them loose? Do you give them some inspiration?
Its nice to have a plan, and that also means less random stuff everywhere.
Today, (like most days) I've been trawling Pinterest for ideas, I've asked some friends what they do with their children, and I've compiled some super fun ideas to keep them busy and creative!
There are a few companies online that sell ready to make craft kits, these are great for taking out short notice as they have everything you need, Im obsessed with Art Camp:
